Kimal are a healthcare innovations company. They approached us about making a bespoke animation about their new product Tauropace which is a solution to prevent the growth of biofilm and bacteria on the surface of implanted devices such as pacemakers.
All of the assets in this video were designed from scratch and created in Adobe Illustrator before being animated in After Effects. The bacteria also have some depth added to them with some subtle use of the Joysticks and Sliders plugin.
